Ready To Get Your Trail Run On??

YEAH?? Well get started with your FREE Walking Program Download,
with other trail running program information below

First of all, thank you for choosing to work with me!

So tell me: Are you ready to do this?

Let’s Go!

Here is your 4-week walking program, which you can start to use immediately and is yours to keep.

You do not have to complete this before the trail running program, but regularly walking at least 20 minutes, 3-4 times a week, can be helpful to your progress (we have had people successfully complete the program without this baseline as well.)

If you’re joining us mid-way, running 20-30 minutes, 2-3 times a week is the baseline.

Just click the button to the right. Then, use the controls in the upper right hand side of the page to print or save the PDF to your computer.

It starts with from zero walking, and ramps up to 1-hour of continuous walking with some power walk intervals by the 4th week.

Just jump into the program on the day/week that fits your level right now. For example if you are already walking 10-15 minutes, you can skip ahead to Week 2.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact me and let me know! I’m here for your success!

Run with LIFE!

It's SUMMER and Almost Post-Covid...

TIME TO TURN UP THE VOLUME ON YOUR LIFE!
Check this stuff out:

Where - When Are We Meeting Regularly?

  • The In-Person Trail Running Sessions will meet at St. Patrick’s County Park, 50651 Laurel Road, South Bend, IN 46637 (this links to directions, or see the map below).
  • Depending on which option you chose, the in-person meetings are on Tuesday and/or Thursday, at 6 PM
  • We will meet at Pfiel Pavilion. Once you enter the park, you’ll see a large red barn. Park in the parking lot next to the red barn, and you will see the Pavilion.

Get EXCITED For The Trails...

  • Trail Running Lesson #1: Always carry a trail map with you!
    • … Even if you think you know the way. At St. Pat’s there are around seven miles of trails. You’d be surprised when they start looping how similar they look. This is part of the reason we stay on the actual 5K route for a good part of the trail running program (we do venture off later on 😉 ). If you go trail running elsewhere, let’s say in the Rockies… which you’ll be able to do after this program – you can see where not having a map can get you into big trouble!
  • Soooo… here’s a trail map of all the trails at St. Patrick’s Park. If you can print a copy to bring with you, that’s great. If not I typically have some available with me to hand out.
  • Just FYI, here’s a sub-map of the Running Wild 5K Course.

What's This Drawing !?

  • We’ll take attendance at each session to make sure everyone who goes out with us… returns! Ha, we’ve not had an incident but just in case.
  • Also, this time around there will be a drawing for a gift card or donation to your favorite charity at the end of the program, and each attendance slip you have gives you one entry into the program.
  • Heck, I think I will just give the winner the cold hard cash value of the giftcard to do whatever they want! I don’t need to enforce commercialism lol!
  • You’ll also get an extra entry if you volunteer to be the course “sweeper”, or person who helps the people in the back and makes sure they feel supported!

RUNNING TECH SHIRTS

  • Because I haven’t done this program in a bit and I don’t fully know what to expect as far as sign-ups yet, I am ordering the shirts after the program starts, so, we won’t have them the first day
  • BUT you will have them within a week or two.
  • They are the same shirts that the Sunburst, Running Wild and other races used, with a non-cotton, wicking, dry-fit technical material.

The Weather... Always The Weather

  • We will run even if it rains! YASSS That makes it fun!!
  • But if (at the park) there is thunderstorm/lightening, tornado conditions, or damaging winds, that day will be cancelled.
  • I’ll make the weather call an hour before the session starts as I know some travel a distance for this program. If this happens, I’ll send out an email and update the online group.

What is the Trail Running Online Course?

  • The Trail Running Program includes an weekly, 8-session online course. You can choose to attend these live and be able to ask questions, or watch/listen to the replay, which will be posted in the group.
  • I’ll open the online group before the program starts. I will email out a link to join when that happens!
